STAT workshops
The STAT team regularly provides half day interactive workshops to guide service providers through the process of implementing the STAT model.
Who should attend?
Managers, project officers, team leaders, coordinators, service coordination, administrators and clinicians who are working to improve timely access in community outpatient settings. It is recommended that staff at all levels attend the training for the best implementation outcome.
Workshop Content
Participants in this interactive workshop will learn about:
- Principles of STAT and how it works
- Evidence of effectiveness of the STAT model
- The steps required to implement STAT
- How STAT can make a difference to your patients
- The potential opportunities and challenges for your service
The Demand Management Toolkit
In 2024 a special workshop series was offered to Victorian Community Health Services based on the Community Health Demand Management Toolkit. Funding for this project has ceased and workshops will now revert back to standard STAT content.
You can find the Community Health Demand Management Toolkit here: https://www.health.vic.gov.au/community-health/community-health-demand-management-toolkit
As well as Community Health specific training tools under the ‘resources’ section of the Community of Practice on this website.
