Attend a workshop
STAT workshops
The STAT team regularly provides half day interactive workshops to guide service providers through the process of implementing the STAT model.
The team is currently undertaking a program of work funded by the Department of Health, Victoria, to provide dedicated training to staff across Victoria’s 78 community health services. This sector of the health system is therefore the focus of training in 2024, and our workshops for the remainder of this year have a specific focus on community health settings, integrating STAT with the Victorian Community Health Demand Management Toolkit.
Who should attend?
Managers, project officers, team leaders, coordinators, service coordination, administrators and clinicians who are working to improve timely access in community outpatient settings. It is recommended that staff at all levels attend the training for the best implementation outcome.
Workshop Content
Participants in this interactive workshop will learn about:
- The importance of timely care in Community Health
- Principles guiding the Demand Management Toolkit
- Principles of STAT and how it can help you to achieve the objectives of the Demand Management Toolkit
- Evidence of effectiveness of the STAT model
- The steps required to implement STAT
- How STAT can make a difference to your patients and the potential opportunities and challenges for your service
